Here could be an interesting approach to the world of dating. In Boston, there are currently many services for singles such as speed dating or lunch dates, given the large pool of singles in the city, these services have been very successful.
I think I have an even better idea. Just went to a local wine bar in savana and attended a weekly tasting they had. These things are great, a bit educational but at the same time, a great opportunity to talk to people in a quieter relaxed atmosphere that doesn’t feel like a bar.
The idea is pretty simple… Create a singles night at a local wine bar. Gather everyone around in a large circle and play spin the wine bottle. Everyone gets a chance to spin but instead of making out with the person you have to do an entire wine tasting with that person, sampling 5 new wines for an hour or so. Even if a guy gets a guy or girl gets a girl, it’s still a great way to break the ice and meet new people for conversation sake.
