Here is a neat marketing innovation I recently came across (and purchased
). Packaged with the Axe body soap was a suction holder for the axe brand of bottles. Perhaps I am too easily “sold” but for me that was enough to spend the couple extra dollars for axe compared with another brand. Axe has done a great job with their ‘Axe Effect’ ads , something that I feel has done a great job in attracting new customers. This new soap holder, it’s a great way of retaining customers. To top it off, the suction works great and looks super slick in the shower.
Reading up on Axe I came across this interesting advert for Axe. The blogosphere is still unclear to whether this is a guerilla approach from Axe or if it’s a spoof, I am assuming the later. Great ad, in either case
